Yikes its been a little too long. Well I'm really going to try and keep updating this blog with all different fun things...pictures quotes...cupcakes...make up...fashion...any updates in regards to events going on with Glittle with be posted on the event/news page of the Glittle Website & anything make up related will be posted mainly on my makeup website which will have like a daily make up eye or how tos etc.

The main big thing that has happened most recently is that Food Network Cupcake Wars called me to submit to be on their show back in July! They told me it would take some time before I heard back...still waiting. But you can check out the submission video below if you haven't checked it out already!

That is the current update for now...Just did a Juicy Couture Event last weekend...hopefully more to update on soon. Other than that look for some fun things I love here on this blog! xox.

I am an avid read of Miss Gala Darling's Blog. She is quit amazing I must say. Being that it is February & Valentine's Day is approaching ( also my Birthday ♥) She has dedicated this whole month to Radical Self Love.

Magical Mondays.

Hello All,

I have decided to take a new approach to this blog and add somethings. I read Gala Darling's Icing Weekly and I have decided to spin off some of her ideas and create my own.

So every Monday you can Look for Magical Mondays. This will be a blog post about anything that inspires me or I find creative or interesting and want to share. It may also include fashion. Just will be chock full of great things!

Gala Also does a post every Thursday and its become a phenomenon. Lots of people make their own lists and she calls it 'Things I love Thursdays.' So you can look for that post as well because I will also now carry on my own list of things I love right now in my life every Thursday!

Lastly, there will be Frosting Fridays! Anything I feel dealing with cupcakes or whimsical fun imaginative things will be posted on this day! So Stay tuned for these new fun updates that I will be having. I hope you'll all enjoy them!

Thank you Miss Gala Darling for Posting this on your blog. Inspiring and had to post it here as well!

Above are some photos from the Grand Opening Party of the Ooh La La Boutique in Huntington Village, NY....They have a few other locations on Long Island as well. Just cute fun stuff they have there! You should go check them out!

As most of you know I work for MAC. If you all haven't checked out Lilly-Land Yet-GO! The Creme Blushes are gorgeous! If you have seen them I know they look bright but they aren't when you apply them! LOVE Them!

Also, I love that I work for a company that has such an amazing program called VIVA GLAM-Which is MAC's HIV/AIDS Fund. Every single penny of the Viva Glam Lipstick or Gloss goes to the Fund which not only funds people in other countries but right here in our neighborhoods as well. To date MAC has raised over $163 Million. It goes to people affected with the virus or that have it. Its incredible what one $14 Lipstick can do. The Fund actually just donated $500,000 to Haiti after finding out about the awful Earth Quake that occurred a week ago. Just thought I'd share--Because if you didn't know now ya do! =]

2009 is almost coming to a Close.

Hope everyone has had a great holiday season thus far!!! We have been super busy working on cupcakes this whole month! We had a great even with Juicy Couture in Bloomingdales in Huntington, NY and we also had one at Sephora in Huntington as well! Enjoy some of the photos from the events!

We have a lot of great things planned for the new year! So keep checking back for more updates!

As most of you may know I'm also a professional make up artist. This season has been a bit crazy and I am now a permanent Artist with MAC cosmetics. I have been freelancing with them for over a year and a half. But now I have a new home where I am always! In a week I will be in NYC for the entire week for some training with them which I'm super excited about. So check back on this blog for make up tips as well! If you ever have any questions just ask!

I'm also super excited because I'll finally be getting my nails done with the Japanese Nail Art which is known in LA way more than here in NY. Miss Gala Darling and I have been on the search for a nail place for the past few months and she finally found somewhere called Valley Nails so I will be joining her one day to get our nails done together!

In other news my pole is finally up in my new apt. It only took like 8 months! But I'm so excited to practice my tricks and work out again! If you live on Long Island check out CatWalk Fitness. Cathy is amazing and gives a great Pole Dancing Workout Class! Love her!!!

And Check out Glittle Cupcakes !!!! Our Website is now pretty much complete!!! We're still working out a few kinks but its almost complete!!! xox.

Alright in the effort to keep updating this thing has been harder than planned! A lot has been going on! So Let's get down to it!

I hope everyone has had a Warm, Healthy, & Blessed Thanksgiving! I am so thankful for all the wonderful people in my life. I'm thankful for my kitties and my pup Zeus, my family, my amazing boyfriend, & my incredible friends.

The shoe modeling with Isobella Jade went awesome. Below are some photos from that!

I unfortunately came down with the flu and last minute had to cancel the Betsey Johnson Event I had planned in Deer Park. I am so sorry to all of you who thought you were going to get some Glittle Cupcakes! I didn't want to infect anyone with my sickness!!!! Which I'm still getting over!

I want to give a shout out to my MAC girlies...especially Miss Daniella & Sabrina. These two ladies are amazing and I couldn't thank them more for what they did for me last week. They believe in me and are incredible women! Love you! With that I finally got hired permanent at MAC in the Smithaven Mall at Macy's! =] yay!!!! I'm so grateful to have a position with this company!

I'm working on more photo concepts for GC as we speak. The new site should be complete within the week I hope!

Once again sorry for the lack of updates! This is going to be a quick one and there will be another one shortly after with photos from some events that have passed!

Tomorrow I will be in NYC giving out FREE Glittle Cupcakes to Everyone who comes to Isobella Jade's book signing for her new Graphic Novel called: "Model Life- The Journey of a Pint-Size Fashion Warrior" (Which is incredible by the way! I picked my copy up the other day from Barnes & Norble and you should too!)

She is amazing! Isobella is a Petite Model that devotes a lot of her time to helping out other woman who are short understand and learn that you CAN model if you are under 5'7!

If you don't know I am 5'0. Yes I'm super short! But most of the time I forget! It's all about confidence! You can never give up on your hopes or dreams! No matter how many times you get rejected in life. Whether it be modeling, music, getting a job, Persistence is the Key....My dad always said this to me since the time I was very young. If you want something bad enough, you work hard for it and never give up you'll find a way to achieve your dreams!

Isobella also has a radio show she does and tonight she interviewed all the models for tomorrow's event! You can check it out here and listen to our lovely interview & advice to Petite aspiring models!

So if you are in the city tomorrow night come say Hi! I'll also be Modeling shoes for her live event at MercBar in SoHo. A lot of great people will be there including Photographer Robert Milazzo Who will be taking photos of the models!(I'll also be doing the makeup as well-Nothing like multi-tasking! I mean I get to do EVERYTHING I love all in one night!) It should be an awesome time! I hope to see you there!!!

The Leaves Are Changing Colors & So is my Life....

Sorry it has been awhile in my updates. A lot has happened to me in the past few weeks.
So This is going to be a long post. I apologize and intend to keep up with the posts on a regular basis from now on!
Today I went into the PINK store in Roosevelt Field and they had cupcake undies! This pretty much made my day! Check em out! ♥

On a sad note if you have been reading my blog you know about my dog Zeus and you also knew about my cat Indiana Jones (my boyfriend). They are the loves of my life! Suddenly, a week ago on Saturday October 10th, Indiana had a stroke and passed away. He was the best cat ever and I miss him to pieces. He was like a human to me some people don't understand these things if they never had an animal but he was the best....He was only 3...I just wanted to dedicate this to him...for every person he touched and said hello to in my life they know what an amazing creature he was and that he is watching down on me and everyone else in kitty heaven. RIP Indy I'll always love you and I miss you terribly.

On a lighter note a lot has been going on with Glittle Cupcakes! You can now go pick up a cupcake or two or three at Javalicious in Stewart Manor, NY which is right outside Garden City in between Floral Park & Franklin Square. It's located on 98 Covert Avenue. In the previous weeks I had made some cupcakes for an event at DIOR in Roosevelt Field. Below are some photos from that.

Upcoming is Halloween which most of you know I am also a Professional Make Up artist and I am taking appointments right now so please let me know if you are interested in having your make up done for Halloween! For those of you that don't know this is my favorite holiday ever! and this year I am going to be a Peacock! I still am in the process of putting together my head piece I can not wait!

Yesterday i was supposed to do a photo shoot for the website but I had a bit of a set back only because on Sunday I woke up with Pink Eye. So not cool...but its pretty much cleared up now and that's what is most important! Next week I plan on taking that photo!

~I will be at Dr. Sketchy this Saturday, October 24th, 2009 at the Slipper Room.

~After that November is booking up with Isobella Jade's "Model Life" Party which Glittle Cupcakes will be at and also I will be modeling for! =] There will also be a radio show the day prior to that...will keep you updated!

~In December there is going to be an event at Sephora in Walt Whitman based on Glittle Cupcakes and I! Super excited about that more details to come soon!

~In January 2010 I will be donating Glittle Cupcakes to a Breast Cancer Fundraiser. More to come with that as well...when we get closer!

I also may be at Betsey Johnson in Deer Park again towards the end of November early December!

Other than that I never made it to Paula Deen! I was sad but she wasn't doing a signing like I thought it was! I was kinda bummed! I've been doing a lot of Makeup of weddings too and I've been at MAC quite often which was why there was a lack of updates!

In the past month we had a few events at MAC and here are just some pix from them..as well as me pretending I'm Victoria Beckham at work heh. not so much haha!

(P.S. no one told us that we had to wear these shirts last weekend so I was wearing a dress..i so wished i had leggings on that day b/c i felt like it looked ridiculous...ah well)

Everyone should go out and support Breast Cancer! This Month is Breast Cancer Month just incase you didn't know. I'm rocking a pink hair extension all month in my support!

On a different note I always catch people taking pix of my car with their camera phones a little over a month ago I caught a Suffolk County Cop take one. So this is why:

I need to learn Italian...Rosetta Stone is so expensive! Anyone have any suggestions!!!???

Sorry for the lack of updates. I've been a bit overwhelmed lately!

RIP Patrick Swayze. =[

First off lets just talk about the VMA's. This is old news by now but I just need to comment on Kanye... That was plain awful. Beyonce was very Classy and gave Taylor Swift a second chance. Thank you for that. My Favorite comment was Obama calling him a Jackass. I heard that on the radio. And He thought he was off the record, and a reporter tweeted it, then the audio was released and never was supposed to be. Amazing. Uh Lady GaGa went a bit over board... I get her artistic point in her song...wish she would have done something more up beat though. Daniella and I recreated the GaGa eye at MAC last week...Picture Below. Michael Jackson tribute-phenominal.

Oh and it is THE WIZARD OF OZ 70th ANNIVERSARY!

As for my week coming up it is a bit busy! Paula Deen (LOVE HER!) is coming to Huntington Village, NY on Tuesday and I am going to go meet her! I'm going to bring her some of my cupcakes! I really hope she likes them! I have another order on Tuesday as well..moving along! =]

This weekend was a bit crazy doing a lot of Make Up! On Saturday morning I drove out to NYC to do a make up for a Body Building competition. I had never been before! It was definetly an experience! I had a shoot earlier in the week for a Security company, we did all corporate portraits! Those guys were nice to work with!

Mini Cupcakes/Birthday Parties/+ Upcoming Projects!

Today I woke up and did a photoshoot for my make-up website which I've been redoing for a few months now with my web designer.... that should be up and running soon!! We are also still working on adding more pages to the Glittle Cupcakes website as well!
Yesterday I babysat my little munchkin Presley! We went to Hecksher Park and played on the swings! Below is a photo of this Birthday cake from last weekend as well as another photo of his mommy Jenny and I and Presley and I again!

Last Saturday I did a Betsey Johnson event at the outlet in Deer Park and also at the Boutique in Roosevelt Field! There are some pictures below of that as well!!!

This week coming up is crazy! I'm freelancing the next two days at the MAC Store at the Smithhaven mall...If you're in the area come by and say hi!!! Sunday I have a cupcake order...Monday I have a lunch meeting with my friend Angela and also to discuss a possible huge cupcake order!!! I also had an interview last week for another job so we will see! Thursday & Friday I am freelancing at the MAC Store in Smithhaven again...the release of the new line comes out! I can NOT wait! there are going to be 5 techkohl eyeliners in amazing colors! Plus 4 Pigments and 4 reflects glitter pots! AND there will also be these made up eye shadow palettes which are gorgeous! The only down side of being a make up artist and freelancing for this line is that every month they come out with something new and fun and I want everything then!

There may be free cupcakes one of the days check back and I'll keep you posted! Saturday morning I have a wedding to do and then there will be another Cupcake event at the Benefit Counter in Roosevelt Field...I'll update with more specifics later in the week! There is a brand new Brow Bar there and its amazing! Jenny does the eyebrows there and she is incredible!

Rainy Rainy Summer in New York!

So, I've been a bit crazy with work, I Freelance for MAC and someone was out on Disability so I had a ton of hours...so yet again it has died down!

I just saw the movie Funny People with Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen. It was funny, but a bit long. They could have cut some stuff out!

I am still working on updating my website and I am in the process of putting together a new makeup website too! As soon as that is up and running I'll update!

I did some cupcakes for Akynos' bday party in the city a few weeks ago so you will find some photos of those cupcakes below and I also did cupcakes....as party favors for my friend Ann's baby shower last week.

This week coming up is Betsey Johnson's Birthday Bash! I will be at the Roosevelt Field Mall Wednesday night with FREE mini Glittle Cupcakes from about 6pm on...and I will be at the Betsey Johnson Outlet Store in Deer Park NY on Saturday sometime! So come down and get some FREE CUPCAKES!!!! I'll be there of course! So come so hi!!!!

I'm also working on some more upcoming photoshoots for the cupcake website which I'm really excited about!!! I had a vintage bustier made special for me from the Pink Purse. Check her out! She is absolutely amazing!!! She takes vintage lingerie and slips and does a full makeover! I'm in love with her stuff!!!! Can't wait to do this shoot!

I'm still unpacking my new place and still need to go through all my stuff! I have to get rid of so much clothing and other items. I'll probably be posting it on ebay soon so I'll send a link when I do!!!

So I've been a bit all over the place lately! I wanted to share some photos with you of things I've been up to lately as well as cupcakes of course!

Tonight I went into the city and delivered 6 dozen cupcakes to Cupcakes Takes The Cake Cupcake Social 2.0 Literally, the cupcakes were gone in less than 3 minutes! What an experience! I made French Toast, Dirt Cup Cupcakes, PBJ, Pop Rocks, & Ring Pop Cupcakes! Everyone seemed to have enjoyed them!!!

Earlier this week, as most of you know I am also a professional make up artist, I went in to the city to the MAC Pro Store for a seminar. It was held about the film industry with the famous Make Up Artist Ve Neill If you do not know who she is check her out! She is absolutely amazing! If you didn't know I trained in LA for Special Effects Make-Up and prosthetics at the Joe Blasco School of Make-Up...I was in my glory! I asked so many questions! She did make up for all the Pirates of the Carribean, Mrs. Doubtfire, Beetle Juice, Edward Scissor Hands, Smoochie, & Sweeney Todd just to name a few! She has a fabulous Brush line too! I love her brush rolls! They are amazing!

Also last weekend I went to see Lady GaGa with my best friend Jenny. It was incredible! I think she is so talented! It was a ton of fun...although I'm 5 feet tall so whenever I go to a show its so hard for me to see, but I managed! She was great live, and put on a stellar performance! At the end of the show they presented her with her Platinum Record which was really cool...the only thing that kinda was weird was that pretty much everyone that attended the concert dressed like Lady GaGa...think the Madonna craze in the 80's....this time last year no one would dare walk around in a leotard... or with lighting bolts painted on their faces...its amazing how people can't be their own person...but its also insane how someone can inspire you so much you actually want to be them...below is a picture of Lady GaGa singing in a Bubble Costume playing a Bubble Piano while she sang 'PockerFace' acoustically!

So this is kinda my thing...when you see me with cupcakes most of the time I am wearing a dress like the ones listed above...If anyone wants to contribute to my dress fund please let me know!!! These two are so cute!

In Glittle Cupcake news....this past weekend I made a few dozen cupcakes...I perfected my pbj and cotton candy cupcakes...and I promised my brother Austin I would make him some Strawberry Shortcake ones...most of my weekend was taken up by freelancing for MAC....if you didn't know I'm also a professional makeup artist!

I have a handful of events coming up which is very exciting! As well as working on my website! Hopefully another photoshoot in the works in the next two weeks! This weekend coming up, I'm doing another Dr. Sketchy Anti-Art School for Miss Molly Crabapple. It's not an ordinary meet up though. You see her idea started here in NYC and then moved throughout the country and then throughout the world! Which is quit inspiring and gives other young woman like myself fuel to burn our fires. To see that she created something and it spread and became so big just shows that if you put your mind to it anything can happen! She's only a year older than I am so that gives me hope in this harsh world we live in!

I'll post some photos of my cotton candy cupcakes probably tomorrow!!!

Let's just say-That I have always been obsessed with the color--it's like a Robin Egg Blue/Tiffany's Blue. I have decided to redo my kitchen over in this color....everything has to match!

I need the Blender, The Kitchenaid Mixer, the Hand Mixer...possibly the Food Processor...
And we have been looking for a house and I would die to have the Fridge to match!

So my journey has begun...I just donated 6 dozen delicious cupcakes to Miss Molly Crabapple's Dr. Sketchy's. I looooovvvveee art and she is amazing! Every other weekend I believe...here in NYC (mind you there are now branches all over) for 3 hours artists come and sketch. They have models come, interesting fun, cool ones, burlesque style. As put by Dr. Sketchy's "When Cabaret meets art School"

Molly made this drawing for me... It's delish...

I made my Candy Land Cupcake (peppermint cake with pink frosting and peppermint sticks)
This was a request from her...
I also Make my Red Velvet Love Bug cupcakes (velvetty red moist cake with white icing)
My Oompa Loompa Coconut Chip Cupcake(coconut chocolate chip with lime green icing)
And lastly, I made my cookie's and cream cupcake..

I'll most likely be donating once a month to this cause because I support art. Art is such a huge part of my life. I am a professional makeup artist so I appreciate all the arts! I don't do art on a canvas but the face is my canvas! I'm always looking to be inspired!!!
